Our main specialty, due to our belief in the Biblical truth, revolves around the archeological evidence in our area pointing to the true existence of the Biblical account. The archeological teachings are based on the academic research of Yehoshua Etsion, presented in his book "The Lost Bible". Etsion made a remarkable 8-year study of all the archeological reports in Israel that relate to the Biblical time-period. He reached some outstanding conclusions that stand as a firm wall of defense against the standard chronology of "recognized" archeology (which presents these archeological findings as unsuitable to the chronological scale of the Bible.)
Etsion bases a lot of his work on the research done by internationally known Dr. Immanuel Velikovsky, who challenged the methods and conclusions of "recognized" archeology. It seems that Velikovsky's main work was to expose the unstable foundations on which scientists have based the chronological scale of both archeology and geology. (Velikovsky's books are published in many languages and are highly recommended. One of the books is composed of copies of letters exchanged between himself and Albert Einstein. Their brilliant minds were a match for one another. Many assumptions that Velikovsky made concerning outer space, were later proven true.)
In this area of Kadesh Barnea, there is clear evidence of the passage of the children of Israel, in exactly the timing of the Biblical record! What we present: that the Biblical record is perfectly true and exact according to archeological evidence, is against the mainstream teaching of most guides in Israel. The main site that was exposed and researched in our area is the site of "Beer Resissim". The archeologist, who first revealed this site in 1952, was Nelson Glik. His team of co-workers was shocked as this challenged their views. Later on, between 1978-1980, Archeologists Rudolf Cohen and William Dever researched the area. It is interesting to mention that near this site, which is in the Kadesh Barnea area, there are many sites similar to this one, which have not yet been dug. The uniqueness of them is that they clearly expose a time in ancient history, when, contrary to normal explanations, a great mass of people passed through this area, and then suddenly disappeared, leaving no evidence of being chased out by an enemy or such.
We find here, as in many other places that have not yet been exposed in the Negev, temporary camping sites, with temporary graves (tumulis) located nearby. Research was done on teeth and bones left remaining in these empty graves, and it was found that they are similar to the teeth (diet-wise) of the people who were buried in the mass permanent graves found north of Jericho. This is where the Israelites would have eventually buried the bones of their forefathers, which they carried throughout the Exodus. The tale and beauty of Beer Resissim can best be understood and revealed on site. If you are a Bible believer you will never regret this trip! Since we are not under the covering of an archeological organization, we are free to present our beliefs, as we are not under the restrictions that prevent many from exposing the truth. We are the only ones in the Negev in touch with this site and this line of teaching. Come and view the true evidence of Israel's history behind the regular mask presented to the tourist.
